The Right Fit = Real Support

The Soothe Shirt is meant to fit like shapewear to both hold the weight of baby and provide support for your postpartum body.

The Soothe Shirt is a Baby Carrier

In order for the Soothe Shirt to function properly and securely hold your newborn, it must be form fitting to your body.  A loose shirt will not function properly.

The pouch extender is meant to allow taller babies to remain secure in the pouch, it is not intended to support a newborn’s head and neck.

FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

How is the Soothe Shirt supposed to fit?

The Soothe Shirt is meant to fit like shapewear to both hold the weight of baby and provide support for your postpartum body. Measure your underbust with a soft measuring tape, making sure to keep the measuring tape level all the way around. If you're between sizes, size up!

Your baby's head should be above your breasts and high enough for you to kiss. If you need help, reach out to our Customer Care Teamand we will be glad to help you find a good fit in your Soothe Shirt.

What if I am between sizes?

Since the Soothe Shirt runs a little small and is meant to be fitted, we would recommend sizing up if you're between sizes!

What's the weight limit of the Soothe Shirt pouch?

The pouch is intended for newborns between 7 and 15 lbs. You can wear it as a nursing tank daily the entire time you breastfeed. For many mamas, that's a year or more.

Can I walk around with both hands free?

The pouch does support much of your newborn's weight, however, we still recommend that you always keep one hand on the baby while they are in the pouch.

How do I put on the Soothe Shirt?

For many moms, it's actually easier to step into the shirt and pull it up, instead of trying to put it over your head. To do this, carefully step into the Shirt, pull it up over your hips, and slide your arms through the armholes. This way the bra will slide into place, and you don't have to get the snug-fitting Shirt over your shoulders (which are sometimes wider than your hips). You can take the Soothe Shirt off in the opposite way: slide the bra panels off, pull the Shirt down your body, and step out.
