A Note on COVID-19
Due to COVID-19’s impact on our supply chain we're selling out of many sizes right now. We’re uncertain of exactly when we’ll be able to restock again, so we encourage you to order now if we have what you need in stock. If you’re getting a gift, you can purchase a digital gift certificate and the recipient should be able to order later this summer, assuming that we are able to return to production soon. Dad Shirts also make an excellent Father’s Day gift and we still have them in stock.
Orders that you place will ship out now. Please know that our distribution center has many safety measures in place, including: regular sanitation efforts to keep the facility clean, well checks to ensure employees are healthy, and abiding by CDC guidelines.
It is our desire that you and your loved ones are well and enjoying being together during this unique time. If there is anything we can do to help or if you have any questions, please let us know!
My baby loves sleeping in this shirt, and it’s sturdy enough to support him (but I do always hold his head with one hand). I wore it 5 days in a row so I could eat and tidy the house with my one free hand before our son started napping during the day.
Bought this for a new dad. He loves it, perfect way to be hands free for chores and walks. Quick and so much easi
Bought this for a baby shower gift. The mama-to-be loves it and can’t wait to use it!
I love this soothing shirt! My baby is snug and comfy and the shirt's compression allows me to do things around the house knowing that she's safe and secure. She might occasionally fuss a little when I put her in, but chills and even naps shortly afterwards. And what a great idea to buy one for my husband! It makes bonding easier as he can put her in and be working/typing at the same time or watching TV or chilling while I take a break/nap. My only issue was the size of my shirt (not of my husband's), I always wear S or XS, but the Lalabu S was too small and had to change it for a M. That process takes time and when you're with a newborn any day counts. In spite of that, I would totally recommend this shirt!!
Follow the sizing instructions for fitting the chest. I will say it gets loose in the chest after moving the panel down to nurse for a day. The other thing I don't love is that I have to let it air dry, which sucks because I'd like to be able to wear it quickly. It is pretty secure, but after about an hour of hands free wear, my 7.5 lb baby starts to get too heavy and low and I have to hand support her, but that's pretty great since it's just a shirt. Love that I can wear my newborn in this. It's the only safe option for normal sized newborn wearing. I'm wearing the soothe shirt and the leggings in the photo, 3 weeks post C-section. It definitely holds in my tummy nicely.
