Soothe Shirt® Features
All moms (and dads) need the lalabu soothe shirt! So helpful for baby and getting things done with multiple kiddos! The company is AMAZING - so glad to support such an incredible family! Really wish I'd had the lalabu with my first two boys!
Originally ordered a Medium and realized it was going to be way way too small although med is my normal size. Reached out on the fb page and got help immediately! Returned my shirt easily and got a credit, so excited to try my new larger shirt. Make sure you read the size chart! I didn’t but it says if your normal size is an m in some instances, you need an L.
A girlfriend recommended the Soothe Shirt for my second child, and I'm so glad I listened! I purchased both the grey and the black Soothe Shirts, and I wish I had two more. My newborn son needs to be close to me in order to sleep, so the Soothe Shirt is exactly what we need to give him the closeness he needs while giving me a hands-free break to tend to my toddler and myself! Be sure to follow the fit guide - it's not intuitive what size you would need, and without using that guide I would've easily ordered the wrong size. I'm 5'2", 130 lbs and measure 31 and 38 under and at fullest part of bust, respectively. I normally wear a small shirt, but the medium Soothe Shirt works great for us.
First of all, you should order a size up. I measured myself and picked from the sizing chart based on that, still too small. Great customer service though! Once baby arrived we tried it immediately (my husband ordered one as well). It was great, we wore our baby for the first 3 weeks. She liked it and it was way easier than a stroller or car seat. Great quality, easy to use, and the incorporated nursing bra is the best! The problem? the material is too thick, and summer in Texas makes it imposible to wear it outside. The second problem, after week 3, our baby doesn't want to be in it anymore, maybe too hot? too tight? we don't know (she does like to be carried on different types of carriers, like ring sling). So, we liked it at first, but spending over $100 (for both t-shirts) for a coupe of weeks is not worth it, in my opinion.
I originally ordered a large based on the size chart but it was way too small so I exchanged it for an XL. I’m still early on in my pregnancy but it still feels uncomfortably snug and I’m worried it won’t fit with my postpartum chest. I feel like this shirt was made for women with smaller chests. I will probably be selling or returning my shirt and I’m disappointed because I love the concept and really wanted it to work. The shirt itself is nice quality, sadly I just don’t think it will work for me.
I like the quality of the shirt, but I think its way too tight. I also don't like that I won't get much use out of it for the price. My baby grew fast- it was 7 lb 15 oz at birth but at 2 months he is already 13 lbs and the shirt is way too snug for him. Baby likes the dad shirt a lot better.
I ordered a size small at about 18 weeks pregnant as I’m on the petite side and most maternity size small’s I’m swimming in, but I couldn’t breathe in it so I’ll be exchanging it for a medium.
Love my carrier shirt! Allows me to get things done and keep baby girl
Close without all those extra straps from
Other complicated carriers. I even wear it out and can style it with a cute over shirt! Amazing purchase and recommend!
I love my lalabu shirt. It’s the most comfortable “carrier” I have tried. You don’t have to lug extra things around and baby is very well supported. I have
Recommend it it to all my pregnant and Mom friends. It has made life a lot easier especially with a toddler at home as well. It was quite tight initially post partum but seemed to loosen with wear and dropping a few post baby pounds. As baby grows it seems to be getting snug again but not in a bad way.
The perfect gift for a new parent, baby like it as well.
