Soothe Shirt® Features
I purchased 2 shirts - 1 for my daughter whose baby is due in May and 1 for my daughter-in-law due in July. I am concerned with the sizing since some of the comments are stating they run small but I won’t know until the babies are born. I believe the concept is good just not sure if the shirts will fit when the babies are small enough to be placed in the shirt.
This shirt has helped me so much with errands and chores around the house. My baby can still be right on me and sleep, but I can move around and have hands free! At first I thought my size was too small but when I put it on by stepping into it, it was a perfect fit!
I wanted to love this product and for the price I expected it to be fabulous, but the fabric is so uncomfortably tight and the pouch is small. My baby was only 6#15 and 19.5 in long and I felt like she barely fit in it. Plus I needed someone to help get her in and out safely. I probably used it twice. I’m so sad this wasn’t more of a win.
After reading reviews I made sure to purchase a size larger for both my husband and myself. I usually wear an XS/S and the M tank was too snug to be comfortable and i thought the fabric was very heavy/hot. My husband took one look at the XL and told me there was no way he was getting it over one arm. Really liked the concept. Unfortunately it didn’t work out for us.
So so so tight. Followed sizing guidelines but size S initially wouldn’t even go over my head and now 3 weeks post partum the shirt ‘fits’ but is so fitted that there is no way my 7lb son would have room in the pouch. Perhaps a M would work but I’ve already washed the 2 shirts. Disappointing bc I really like the idea! But unfortunately I’ve wasted my money and can’t use these. The high waisted leggings and dad shirt work great though! Sizing seems much more accurate with both of those.
I bought this shirt when my baby was about 2.5 months. She is very long so she was already a bit snug in it, but we have continued to use it and she is 4 months now. I love this shirt in comparison to a baby wrap, I feel like my baby is more secure and it is more comfortable for my back. It is so great for being in crowded areas, my baby falls right to sleep. This shirt would have been so amazing for a brand new baby when you need to get things done and they refuse to be put down! I will definitely be looking forward to using it for my next one from the start! I am 5'4 and about 165 lbs post partum. I ordered a medium and it is definitely snug and holds things it, but I almost feel like a large would've allowed me to use it longer since my baby is already almost too long for it.
My baby girl is only happy when I hold her. I love the snuggles and wish I could only snuggle 24/7 but I also have a toddler who needs me too. This baby wearing shirt allows me to keep my baby girl close for bonding while being able to interact with my toddler and go about our daily routines and play. Not only is it a lifesaver but it looks and feels great too! I ordered 2 shirts to make sure I always have a clean one available.
I bought 2 of these for my daughter after she spent her first few days home after the birth of her son. she was juggling two kids and trying to figure out how to hold the baby all the time this was the best solution and at 8 weeks they still love it
I really like the black tank. For a while I was wearing it everyday. However, the shirts are really tight. I’m usually a small but needed to get a medium. Even if I don’t put my daughter in the shirt, it works great as a nursing shirt. However, I give it 4 stars for the price. Not worth $70 for one shirt; and I’m not sure it’s worth $50 for one shirt either. But over all pretty good. Also, it seems tight on my baby’s legs. Whenever I take her out of it she starts crying. And there are imprints on her skin from lines in the shirt. Looks like it might cut off circulation to her feet.
I really wanted to love this! Ive seen it advertised all over and the reviews are nothing but positive. I however got gifted 2 for my shower and they got me XS because thats what I was prior to pregnancy. Needless to say I couldn't even dream about getting that size on. I exchanged for the M and It is still very tight. At 2 weeks old my baby was 7 pound so I tried the tank on again in the size M and there was so way I could get my baby in the pouch. I didn't exchange for a size up because at this point I am not sure if this item is for me. Being a new mom and sending back for the 3rd time just seems like too much!
